Hydrotherapy

Underwater jet massage

Underwater jet massage
This treatment is performed in a medical tub filled with water. In the special tub water jets with adjustable intensity and direction are used during the treatment. Body-warm water coming from a hose is directed by hand to different points of the body. By vibrating the soft tissues underwater jet treatment stimulates blood and lymphatic circulation, thus increasing metabolism and contributing to the body's detoxification processes. Due to its effect on the lymphatic system it strengthens the immune system. It relieves tension caused by stress, refreshes, and relaxes the muscles. The vibrations in the water penetrate the connective tissues, thus helping the regeneration of the skin. In addition, it has analgesic effects.

Hydromassage

Hydromassage is nothing more than a blood circulation-stimulating massage achieved by the accord of water and air. During bathing body temperature rises, blood circulation speeds up, blood pressure decreases. The amount of oxygen and nutrients transported to the cells is multiplied. In addition, the pores of the skin dilate and the tissues become relaxed. These effects can be intensified by hydromassage which may be recommended for locomotor, rheumatic and internal medicinal complaints, for alleviating circulatory disorders, preventing the formation of varicose veins. Of course, the effects of hydromassage are not negligible in the treatment of stress and fatigue, either. The bathing relieves stress, refreshes the brain and reduces internal stress.
